Matcha is for meeting people, exploring attraction and hopefully finding something real. That only works when everyone feels respected and safe. So here's the deal.
Use your real identity and accurate information. Don't impersonate someone, catfish people, deliberately misrepresent your age, or use photographs that aren't yours.
Attraction isn't an invitation to be cruel. No harassment, bullying, threats, stalking, hate speech, or degrading someone because of who they are.
And remember: a Matcha score is private for a reason. Don't pressure someone to reveal what they scored you, and don't shame someone for their preferences.
A match isn't consent. A conversation isn't consent. A date isn't consent. Respect people's boundaries both on Matcha and when you meet offline. Sexual harassment, coercion, exploitation and non-consensual intimate content have no place here.
Matcha is strictly 18+. Anyone under 18 is not permitted to use the Service. Content that sexualizes, exploits or endangers minors is strictly prohibited and will be reported to the appropriate authorities.
We don't allow content or behaviour that attacks or dehumanizes people based on protected characteristics such as race, ethnicity, nationality, religion, disability, gender, gender identity or sexual orientation.
No scams, phishing, fraudulent investment "opportunities," requests for money under false pretences, fake emergencies, or attempts to obtain someone's financial information. And if someone you've met on Matcha suddenly needs you to send them money: don't.
Don't use Matcha primarily to sell products, recruit customers, promote services, solicit sexual services, or spam people. You're here to date. Act accordingly.
Don't publish someone's private information without permission. Don't screenshot, distribute or exploit intimate/private content in ways that violate another person's privacy or consent. Don't attempt to uncover private Matcha scores or circumvent our privacy features.
Matcha is a dating app, not an adult-content platform. Nudity, pornography, graphic sexual content and sexually exploitative material aren't permitted in public profiles.
Don't create fake accounts, bots or duplicate accounts to manipulate Matcha. If you've been removed from Matcha, don't create another account to get around the restriction.
You can report or block someone directly through Matcha — it's in the ⋯ menu on any profile and in any conversation. Reports help us investigate behaviour that may violate these Guidelines. Depending on the circumstances, we may remove content, restrict features, suspend accounts or permanently remove users.
